The 2022 Central/South Florida Winter Training Programs will be at:

Camp Geneva at 36540 Vía Marcia, Fruitland Park, Florida 34731

  • Staff & Staff Cadet Arrival:  Thursday 09 JUNE 2022 - 1600-1800

  • Cadet Arrivals: (cadets should have breakfast before arrival)

    • Recruit Training & League Cadet Orientation Cadets

      • Friday 10 June 2022 - 0800-1000

    • All Other Trainings

      • Friday 10 June 2022 - 1000-1200

  • Graduations: 

    • Recruit Training & League Cadet Orientation Cadets

      • Saturday 18 June 2022 - 1000-1130

    • All Other Trainings

      • Saturday 18 June 2022 - 1200-1330

  • Training Fees:

    • $175 ($150 National + $25 Local Fee)

Various Tips
  • Any cadets or escort officers who may be flying in need to arrange transport to and from Camp Geneva in coordination with the COTC no later than 15 days prior to the training date. Such transport cannot be guaranteed, so please confirm with COTC before booking any flights. All flights must be to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO), arriving between 0700 and 1000 on 10 June, and departing between 1600 and 2000 on 18 June.

  • If you are applying as a STAFF CADET, please send an e-mail to nrose@flseacadets.org explaining your desire and qualifications.

  • Absolutely no cell phones or other electronic devices will be permitted for training cadets, though Staff Cadets may be allowed cell phone us from time-to-time.

  • Emergency contact information will be provided to every Unit and parent in the event that the unit or parent needs to reach a cadet.

  • Pictures will be posted every day on a our Facebook page.

  • For privacy and security, no cadet names will be posted.

  • We will try to have every cadet in at least one picture every day.

  • No more than 1 e-mail per day from one e-mail address

  • A maximum of 3 e-mails per day per cadet from all addresses

  • Our ink and paper supplies are limited, so please limit e-mails to one printed page...

    • ...with no graphics or pictures.

  • E-mails will be printed and delivered at Mail Call at 1800 hours every night

  • Mail received after 1800 hours will be delivered the next day.

  • Cadet or Recruit's Name MUST be the Subject Line of Your E-mail!

    • No Nicknames or Pet Names

  • Do not send confidential information.

    • All e-mails are reviewed by adult staff prior to distribution.
