It is the responsibility of each Cadet to make sure that he/she has the latest information about schedules, uniforms, activities, fees required and all other necessary information to be on-time and 100% prepared for each and every unit activity! Each cadet must bring a canteen with web belt and notepad with black pen to every drill! If you can not attend ANY drill, or are scheduled to attend any other activity that you can no longer attend, you MUST submit an Absence Form for each missed drill, meeting or event.

Activity Fee Notice
For reasons more fully explained in the
Uniform Policy section of this site, many Cadet activities other than
regular drills will now have a small fee charged to cover the costs of that
particular activity as well as provide excess funds to cover other Team
Spruance costs. For example, if an activity includes a $4.00 lunch,
each cadet or attendee will need to pay an Activity Fee of about $6.00 to
$10.00 (depending on various factors)...the extra amount collected over the
direct costs of that activity will be used to cover the indirect expenses of
that activity as well as provide for other non-recovered expenses of running
the unit. We will always try to keep the activity fee to as low an
amount as possible while ensuring the financial survival of the unit.
Any cadet or parent may request financial assistance as needed if paying any
activity fee presents a true hardship. Please contact the CO for such
requests, and thank you for understanding the financial needs of the unit.
